Prayer for the Fallen
American Heroe

God our Father,Your power
brought these soldiers to life,
Your providence guided  their
lives, and by Your command
they have returned to dust.
Lord, these soldiers who have
died now live in Your presence,
their lives have changed but
have not ended.  We pray in
hope for their families, relatives,
  friends, and for all soldiers
who have  died known to You
alone.  In company with Christ,
who suffered died, and rose
from the dead and now lives,
may these soldiers rejoice in
Your kingdom, where   all our
tears will be wiped away. On
that day we will be united with
them together again as one
family singing with them Your
praise forever and ever. Amen.
