Our Vision and Mission Vision of Canticle of Christ Ministry Believing in the presence of God in our midst, we proclaim the sanctity of human life and the dignity of the person by sharing the mission of Jesus Christ given through the Gospel. To this end, Canticle of Christ Ministry works through ecumenism with affiliate parishes, and organizations to offer pastoral ministry to institutions, individuals, families and communities to help meet their pastoral needs, address their issues, eliminate oppression, and build a just and compassionate society. Our affiliate members are as varied as the people we serve. By living and working among those in need, we as a network are able to experience their hopes and their hurts – and from this experience, we are able to help meet basic needs. We minister to the sick, the orphaned, the elderly, and the oppressed. We promote peace and justice and the dignity of all people. Dignity of the Human Person Our priorities are guided by the basic belief in the inherent dignity of the human person and the responsibility of sharing the Gospel to ensure that dignity in all aspects of the ministries we are called to serve in. Mission of Canticle of Christ Ministry The mission of Canticle of Christ Ministry is to minister primarily through clinical pastoral ministry in assisting in society primarily through clinical pastoral ministry in collaboration with our affiliate members by supporting them in their respective mission of service and advocacy. |
